Words Alive - SDG
Volunteers will be helping to construct learning kits with the use of new books, craft materials and school supplies. These learning kits are distributed through Words Alive's Read Aloud Program, Adolescent Book Group, and Family Literacy Program. The activities are paired with a parent guide and are designed to stimulate fun and meaningful connection to the text. Integrating learning kits into our programs retains our core, proven tenets while layering in best practices for family engagement and deepened engagement. Picture assembly lines stuffing bags with books, guides for parents, school supplies, and craft supplies.
Age Minimum (with Adult): 10+, Minimum Age:18+
